This is my third year of participation in the Oregon Cancer Ski Out (OCSO) and I hope you will join me in supporting four very important agencies this event serves:

* OHSU Cancer Institute
* Providence Willamette Falls Hospice
* Hospice of the Gorge
* Candlelighters

Your tax deductible contribution in any amount to the Oregon Cancer Ski Out will aid each of these agencies in their various missions. The OHSU Cancer Institute continues to research causes and cures for cancer, both Providence Willamette Falls Hospice and Hospice of the Gorge provide high quality end of life care to terminally ill patients and their families, and Candlelighters support programs for children living with cancer and their families.

At some point in your life, you will be touched by cancer in some way or another. You may have a parent who died of cancer. There may be a child with leukemia who goes to school with your child. You may have a friend or sister undergoing experimental treatment for breast cancer. Or, it may be you.

The Oregon Cancer Ski Out began in 1989 as a result of a small group of friends who wanted a positive way to channel their sadness over the loss of loved ones due to cancer. Twenty-one years later, the event is still going strong with 250+ skiers participating. Please help all the Oregon Cancer Ski Out skiers raise awareness and support of these important organizations and help these organizations continue the important work they do.
